Our story
Azania SA (Pty) Ltd was founded in Pretoria as a specialist in South African location and GIS data, working alongside partners and institutions such as AfriGIS, HDA and Oresol.
Over years of solving address, routing and delivery-visibility problems for SA businesses, one pattern kept repeating: distributors needed a way for their customers to order online and track deliveries, but they didn't want to build software from scratch.
So we did. Today Azania SA is a product company. Our flagship is Azania Trade — an order-management and delivery-tracking platform built on top of our location-data heritage. The GIS work and the messaging plumbing still exist; they're just under the hood now.
Leadership
With over a decade in enterprise GIS and location-data work across the SADC region, Mabaso leads Azania SA's product strategy, partnerships and key enterprise accounts — steering the company's evolution from data specialist to SaaS product builder.
